pi4t: The characters you're talking about are the so called 'canon party', which, by the BG2 plotline, travelled with the PC for most of the events of BG1. Since that's how the game is designed, and it would be many, many times more complex to come up with separate plots for every possible combination of party members at the end of BG1, no, there isn't a way to fix it. On the other hand, you'll notice that your character appears to be suffering from some form of amnesia or memory loss following his capture and torture, so you can ascribe the inconsistencies to the effect of that on your own memories (so you remember one thing happening, when slightly different events occurred) and/or those of the other characters (so they act as if they travelled with you, when they didn't). You could also just gloss over it, leave those characters ASAP, and find some new/old party members after the tutorial dungeon.
Also, how could you kill Minsc, you horrible, horrible person? Boo will come after you in vengeance...
Thank you nonetheless. I will try to adapt the events into my roleplay. It will be easy for the ones I abandoned , but the ones that died, it will be harder. The same effective and very creative explanation of ME3's ending can be used here... Spa- er Magic!
