Good day, I downloaded patch 1.3. When I try to install, I get a message that the update is 80mb (on a 600mb file) and that I don't have enough free space, wich is impossible.

Is it a known issue?

retsushi: ...Is it a known issue?
There were issues with Infinity Engine games and large hard disks (> 2TB) or installing them on USB drives. Try installing the game on a smaller disk / partition, if possible to a custom subfolder on C:, like C:\GOG Games\
The game is in the default folder (c:/GOGGames/BGIIEE)

Tried to move the patch somewhere else, same problem.

By the way the game runs fine on 1.2, it'S the patch that don't work.

What's your Windows version, what's the error message and when exactly does it show up?

The patch works fine. I have just patched my game without issues. Since the installer is telling you you don't have enough space, just how much free space do you have; you never said? Remember that the installer is 607MB, not 80MB, and will require more than that while it extracts temporary files etc.
I'm on Windows 8.1.

Free space on my hard drive : 75GB (My HDD is partionned in two)

When I launch the patch, GOG Patcher start

The window says; Update 2.0.1.2 Baldur's Gate II - Enhanced Edition, this update requires 80MB of disk space to install.

Then below in red, There is not enough disk space for the update.

All I can do is press EXIT.
And how many programs do you have running in the background? Close everything, use the Windows cleanup tool to get rid of junk, remove all but the last restore point, and then try again.
Nothing is working in the background.

If I double-clic the game, it starts and play well.

If I double-clic the patch, then suddenly I don't have enough free space.

I just cleaned my disk, will restart PC and try again
Still don't work

In that case I suggest you open a ticket with GOG support. It's their installer, so they may have some insight into what's going on.
I second Hickory, definitely send a support ticket. Maybe the installer's free space detection has got a glitch under Win 8.1
I just did that. I will wait to see what can be done about this.
I reinstalled the whole game and also reinstalled some 2010 DirectX.

I was able to patch the game to 1.3 after that.

Thanks all for your time and tips
