I just got the 1 and 2 enhanced editions, and was looking to play a hivemaster. I saw the BGEE kitpack has it in BWS, but that seems not to have a BG2EE counterpart. Is there a way to get it to work on BG2EE, or another kitpack that works for both?

According to the Spellhold mod page, it doesn't even work in BG:EE with the latest patch (hasn't been updated since 2013).

Yeah, I saw that. I just figured since it was on BWS's list they'd just forgotten to remove that message. Any other working packs for it then?

Very doubtful. The latest enhanced patch has apparently broken most mods.

Nothing works in the EE versions after the 2.something patch.

Its a shame BeamDog broke so many things on the latest patches of EE, specially kit packs. I was one that stooded and defended BD when they took over the Baldurs Gate series, thats why the desapointment is so great. Its hard to defend them after all the disrespect. Their decision to cut off the original series is a slap on the face of the fan base. That said, I have a Tactical instalation of BGEE , and I get various kits to choose, though not Hivemaster. I have also a BWS Trilogy for BG2EE , and there are a few more kits ( not Hivemaster ). It seems that BWS can install some kit packs, but it would be better to ask at their forums ? I really hope BD improves not just the game and bugs, but restore features that were cut that just dont make sense, and break the game for modders.

P.S.: My criticism is meant as constructive, not as a rage.

I was able to get the "NPC Project" and "Unfinished Business" mods to work on BG1EE with the 2.3 patch. Completed the game again without any problems. I think I used the "Tweaks Pack" too. If you bought the game on GOG (or Steam) you have the use the modmerge found here first though:

Tweaks Pack has a successor in the works that currently works with SoD. It's done in such a way that one tweak pack works for all IE games. Check out the BG2 Team Pack's forum in Gibberlings for more info on that.

Original movies also appears to work.
