Heya!

First off, let me say that I bought, played and still have the original CD's of all of the BG and IWD games. Loved them all and I'm really looking forward to going old-school crazy with them again.

What I'm not looking forward to is the hours I spent with each game creating my character(s). I was lucky enough that I came across the old Gate/Shadow/Dale keeper saved game editors. I used them to speed up the new game process and made one other major change to the NPCs. (I always felt that Viconia was better as a Ftr/Cl so I adjusted her class and abilities accordingly.)

Of course, these days, I'm using a Win7-64 bit machine and I've long since lost my copies of the various keeper apps. So my question is two-fold.

1-Does anyone know if the Keeper progams will work with a Win7-64 bit, GOG install of the games?

2-Can anyone help point me at Keeper (or any saved game editor) for these Infinity Engine games? (I did try a google search on Gate Keeper, but was unsuccessful.)

Thanks to you all

All *Keepers can be found here.
They work without problems with GOG versions, however someone else would have to confirm that Win7 bit, since I'm still on XP. (Or just download one of the editors and see if they run on your OS.)

One thing to remember when it comes to Win7 - if you install the game at default location, your saves may be in different place than usual [C:\Users\your_username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\GOG.com\<game folder>] and the Keeper won't detect them. You'd have to either point the program to them manually, or (and that's better solution) install the game somewhere outside Progam Files folder.
Just DL'd and tested Gate Keeper on my WIn 7 64 bit machine and it seems to work exactly as I remember it doing! Guess I'll be taking an extended vacation from reality for the next few weeks. LOL!

Thanks a lot, Thiev.
