Since the 2.0.62.2 version completely broke some mods compatibility and new ui "improvements" are simply rubbish, is there any chance GoG could make the previous version accessible for download? Or the EE games are ruined forever?

GOG already gave older installers for other games to people who contacted them and asked for older versions. Therefore, I think that the best way to get them is by contacting GOG.
