What the Hell, GOG? Why can't I enable Cloud saves?

After the fixes/solutions from my stuck post, my game cloud saves and updates. So I have like zero issues now beyond it telling me there is a data mismatch. Someone commented that they fixed the download now though.

Partakith: After the fixes/solutions from my stuck post, my game cloud saves and updates. So I have like zero issues now beyond it telling me there is a data mismatch. Someone commented that they fixed the download now though.
I have none of those issues. No incomplete or unconverted files. I have no files to delete or rename. In the Galaxy Manage installation > configuration > Features, I am unable to tick the box for sync local saves to cloud. So playing on my Steam Deck or on my PC, I have to manually move the save folder back and forth,

Sounds like their “fix” broke more stuff :/, can’t confirm this is the case but lame. Seems like BG3 is on par with the CoD Cold Wars release, was unable to play after 2 months of playing due to issue on their end. The cloud save issue is likely a larian issue. When I get home I’ll see if I can figure anything out, sorry man

1. you can't enable cloud saves on BG3 because Gog doesn't have that option... if you asked this question in the BG3 forum it would not have taken this long to find it

2 bg3 has cross-saves [controlled by Larian not gog] and that system is currently working although still not correctly... note you need a Larian account, linked to Gog aand running from Galaxy to use cross-saves

hard saves are working as intended... autosaves and queicksaves are dropping in and out as Larian keeps resetting the server at their end and that makes saves disappear from the list

I did ask on the BG3 forum (after I asked here, because why would a BG series game not be covered in the BG series forum).You responded to that post 4 days ago.

There is zero reason to require yet another launcher to perform a function that already exists without it. So I have requested my refund so I can buy on Steam, since they support cloud saves without another 3rd party account.

i would not try to run cross-saves and cloud saves at the same time, just as a heads up
