Every time I launch BG2 (installed as Baldur's Gate Trilogy) I get that annoying first run message which forces me to access the config screen before the game is launched. I already checked the baldur.ini for the first run entry but it's set to 0. I have attached a screenshot of the message. What can I do to stop this?

I'm using Win 7 Prof. (64 bit).

I had the same problem but found the solution somewhere in this forum:

Try running the program from the start-menu shortcut, not the desktop shortcut.
If that works then simply change the desktop shortcut from "...\Baldur's Gate II\BGmain.exe" to ...\Baldur's Gate II\BG.exe" (or vice-versa, I can't remember as I'm at work - you can find it in the game directory, one of them forces the dialogue and the other bypasses it)
Hm, the shortcut is indeed already linked to "BGMain.exe" (I guess that's i the one you ment), didn't use it yet though. I find it a bit strange that the launcher keeps throwing the message at you but this workaround will do I guess. Thanks for the help.
