I could have sworn that there was a post out here somewhere with the exact wording of "no objective text" but I cannot find it and several searches of the forum using a variety of terms turn up nothing...;)

This phrase, "no objective text" shows up often in my BG2 EE Journal, under "Quests", and it seems like a bug specific to the EE version of BG2. The latest patch as of today 4/19/2016 doesn't fix it--does anyone have the definitive handle on this?...;)

It is a bug with the EE version. It is reported in various posts on the Beamdog forums. Not fixed after 2.1 update, it seems.

Thanks, Hickory. I was afraid that might be the case after the 2.1 update didn't address it--but I had thought there might be an easy fix for it. It's not that big a deal--it's just a bit annoying...;)
