It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

"Baldurs Gate 1" can't be opened because the identity of the developer cannot be confirmed.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

Hi, you must be on a recent version of OS X. Go to your system preferences, under Security & Privacy. There are radio buttons for "Allows apps downloaded from:" and likely "Mac App Store" is selected. I have mine set for "Anywhere" but you might be able to get away with "Mac App Store and identified developers".

This should do it. Hope it helps.

PS:

Hmmm, there's also this:

Thanks Chris - got past that hurdle and now it says ERROR! cannot write to Ifo.plist, there are permission problems, or you are on a read-only volume. This cannot run from within a read-only dmg file.

?

Oh, are you running this off of the disk image on your desktop? Or have you installed it (dragged it into your applications folder)?
