I'm just downloading BG1 and don't really want to buy BG2 until I see how I get on with the first one. There's loads of posts on here about TuTu and Weidu and suchlike, but they all seem to involve BG2. What I want to know (if possible) is just:

a: which patches should I get to get the game up-to-date?
b: do you still need the nVidia fix, if so, where from?
c: which widescreen mod should I use (I've got a 16:9 monitor @ 1920x1080)?
d: which UI mod?

Sorry if it sounds demanding or short, I've just got myself totally lost in some of the threads here and wanted to see if there's a short answer or two to my questions. I'm nice really, honest :)
