Hi all. I am still playing BG1 (I have been playing it for about 5 years on my old computer). Anyway I have a list of chests and doors I can't open in the entire game:

1. BG City - Top Right - House in the top of the map: A chest below the stairs: I have tried to open it with 255% open locks and a 5% luck spell.
2. BG City - Top Right - The Splurgin Stugeon: A drawer on the first floor: I have tried to open it with 255% open locks and a 5% luck spell.
3. BG City - Down Left - The Merchant League: Front Door: I have tried to open it with 240% open locks and a 5% luck spell.
4. BG City - Top Middle - Gray house behind the tower: A chest below the stairs: I have tried to open it with 255% open locks. (I have read about this chest and I know it contains a flamedance ring and 16gp, but I still want it. I have also read it can be a part of a Thieves Guild Quest, but I have killed all the thieves when I entered the city two years ago).
5. BG City - Palace - One locker on the down floor and three chests on the top floor: I have tried to open it with 120% open locks and a 5% luck spell.
6. Nashkell Barracks - A chest: I have tried to open it with 120% open locks and a 5% luck spell.

How is it possible to open these locks which I have mentioned above? (If I drink too many potion of master thievery my open locks-skill decrease to a low percentage) I can only be able to get 255% open lock-skill. Please help me open the last chests and doors in the game, so I can finish it.

Stop drinking so many potions. If your skill goes too high, it wraps around. You do not need anything more than 100% for any openable lock in the game.

My character is a thief with a standard open-locks-skill is at 120%, but I cannot open the above mentioned things. Off course I saved the game before drinking any potions, so I actually haven't used any potions yet, I just know I can't go above 255%, but even with that super-skill I can't open the mentioned locks. What should I do?

After searching for people with the same problems I stumpled upon this: http://www.ironworksforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2329 It seems as if the locks I have encountered and listed down throughout my 5 years of playing is quest-related or actual bugs that can only be fixed if I buy the Sword Coast-expanse..

Does anyone know who I should talk to to get into the Merchant Legue?
