Hello everyone!

The bard song gives a bonus like the wizard's luck spell. If I have bard song and cast luck, will the two effects stack?

No. Luck is determined by a non-cumulative op code. Bard Song is better, because it confers resistance to fear.

Thanks!
I don't think the bard song gives a luck bonus in BG1.

You can download the manual from your accounts page. On page 17 it says:

"Bard song: This is possible by Bards – the bard character
will begin playing a song, which continues until any action
other than movement is selected for that bard. While the
song is playing, the party morale and luck is higher. (Luck
decreases attack rolls and damage caused by enemies)."
I remember reading somewhere that it doesn't work but haven't tested it.

It's not always safe to assume the game's manual is accurate. There may be mistakes.

The Baldur's Gate 2 manual, for example, omits the Regeneration spell, yet the spell clearly exists as a level 7 Cleric/Druid spell.

The original manual for The Elder Scrolls: Arena claims that Healers can use bows, but that is not actually the case. (This error is not present in the GOG version's manual.)
