But outta interest... are all the regulars on this forum also users of the main Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition forum too? That seems to be the most 'alive' forum around for Baldur's Gate related topics that I know of.

Could barely care less about BGEE to be honest, but good luck with the Let's Play.

BGEE is a joke, in every sense of the word. But yeah, good luck on the LP.

Ah I didn't realise there was such a strength of feeling with regards to BG EE on this forum. I guess that'd be a reason why some people might not use that forum.

As I said, it might be officially the BG EE forum, but it's basically just a Baldur's Gate forum, where there's a fairly active and helpful community that just discuss everything related to BG.

My LP is for BG 2 anyway.

It has to do with the cashgrab nature of the release, and its very embuggered state. To me it's madness to buy an inferior product for twice the price of the original. (Or maybe it's for the same price now, I really couldn't care.)

There is actually still a good deal of discussion going on at Bioware about BG and BG2. Mostly the active threads are no reloads and stuff like that, but I've always gotten replies quickly when I ask about anything there, and people are very helpful and incredibly knowledgeable.
