Hi, I am asking for Schizo2015 here since his English is not the best. He bought the D&D bundle this sale and now noticed that the German manual for Baldur's Gate 2 appears to be missing. He posted this in the general forum and was told that the German manual is in fact contained in the Linux version of the game. Could please soembody who owns the game (I don't) check if the German manual is in fact missing in the windows version of the game? If it should be missing in the windows version but is contained in the Linux version it's something that should be fixed.
There is only one manual, the English manual.

It's named "manual.pdf" in the Windows installer. I doubt it gets renamed during the install process.

I don't own the game myself so I cannot check but I guess the misunderstanding could be that I (as well as Schizo2015 who asked me for this) was talking about the D&D bundle from the sale. Maybe the "BGII Complete" installer is not contained in this bundle? I am not familiar with BG or the D&D bundle so I really don't know for sure if this is the problem. Maybe you could explain this for me?

In the downloads section there are installers for Windows, MAC and Linux, in English, French, German, Polish and Russian. There are also downloads for extras, or 'goodies'. The extras, where you would normally find things like manuals, only has the English manual. It would seem that the German manual, at least, comes bundled inside the actual German game installer, not as a separate download.

Yes, I understood but I was told it is not in the game directory (even after installing the game in German) if you bought the D&D bundle.Since Gydion already said that the German manual is part of the "BG II Complete" game could somebody please tell me if this was also part of the D&D bundle from the insomnia sale?
O.K. it seems that the German manual is included in the classic version of the game but not in the enhanced edition. That is something GOG should change.

First of all, you never mentioned anything about the enhanced version -- that's a different kettle of fish. Second, if Beamdog supplied the manuals GOG would make them available. Pester Beamdog.

I don't want to pester anyone. I am just asking that is all. Remember, I don't even own the game myself (I am not even interested in it) and all I am doing here is asking for someone whose English is not so good. And yes, I did not mention the enhanced edition since I had no clue about what exactly is part of the D&D bundle. Again - I don't know nothing about this game I am simply doing a favour here by asking the English speaking community as well. He just told me that the (english) manual for the enhanced edition (which seems to be part of the D&D bundle) is totally different from the manual for the classic version so simply including the manual from the original version probably is not enough.

Fair enough. All perfectly valid points. I apologise if I came over too strongly, but it can be frustrating when people don't offer pertinent information with their problems -- no mind readers here. :)

Of course I understand this. Be assured that I would have provided all needed information if I even had known that they were missing here. That is the big problem with asking something for another person without having the necessary information to do so. Thank you for your understanding.
