Have you tried resting? IIRC, caster characters in BG2 start with no spells memorized (or zero charges for sorcerers), and Tutu will carry the same into BG1.

It's a longshot, but have you tried unequipping all items?
You may also want to load up your save game in ShadowKeeper and see what affects your character.

sear: I just installed Baldur's Gate 2 for the Xth time, and have come across a strange issue. Playing as a sorcerer, my spell slots are tinted red, and I cannot cast anything or assign spells to those slots. And yes, my attributes are definitely high enough to be able to cast any spells. I made a wizard character, same issue.

Interestingly, I installed EasyTutu earlier and the problem persists into Baldur's Gate 1 as well.

I've attached a screenshot demonstrating the issue.

I really never have seen anything like this before. Any insight is appreciated.
This is happening to me too. Just to one character (Xan).
