Well, I can't. The game has been pre-downloaded. Is it just me or we need to wait a bit longer?

Had the same thing, yes, past tense.
Starting from Galaxy did nothing, from the start menu opened up Galaxy, and again, nothing. Running the "launch" exe from within the game folder did nothing. Running the "bg3" exe within the bin folder... gave a "vcruntime140.dll missing" error. Reinstalling Visual C++ and everything works fine.
You can get an all-in-one installer from GitHub.
