Well as sugested by Olnorton i copy the wav files from baldurs gate 2 into my sounds in baldurs gate 1 so i could have them in spanish , now the problem is that those voices sound so low in comparison with the rest of the voices that came with the game , so ive been looking around the web for a program that could increase the voulme of this wav files , and got a program called Audacity , problem is this program dont even recognize the wav file from my baldurs gate 2 but does recognize the ones in enlish , its a bit frustrating xD , im not very computer clever so it takes me a good amount of time to search for all this things and when i see i can just go no further i must ask for help , so if anyone does know how i could increase the volume of these files it would be greatly apreciated :)
Edit : on a side note i have even tried with WAV to MP3 converter programs to see if i could once its a mp3 control the volume but the diferent programs do not recognize the files , tried with the icewind dale voice sets in english as well and it didint work so im not even sure if its a WaV file anymore , im out of ideas by this point :P

This question / problem has been solved by neantimage
check http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/IEmodding/index.php
There are two tools there, one is an editor and the other a converter. Looks like BG2 sound files aren't WAVs, they are ACM.
Hi Neant i had seen that tool in a spanish forum but they didint say i had to open in dos :P but anyways the tool said that the file is not a Acm so hence i cant convert it , wich is starting to be a bit stresfull since when i open properties in the file it does show up as a Wav file then when i get programs to do it i cant , ill try and see if i can find a program to convert wav2acm but this is starting to be such a hustle , its not a major problem really but the diference in volume bettewn the voices on my group and that of my main char is just a lot from 1-10 is like they was at 8 volume and me at 3-4 like really low xD
There are two of them there. acm2wav is one, but there's that DLTCEP thing, which looks like an editor and can also do all the conversions you want: "Sound conversion: WAVC to WAV, WAV to WAVC, ACM to WAV, WAV to ACM ". Did you try that one?
Ive just downloaded the program but im trying to figure it out , alltough the describtion mention weidu in the page and im not using eather weidu or tutu or anything , for that matter i play baldurs gate as it comes without mods :P ill try messing around a bit with it but so far im not understanding much of it hehe

Edit: i do belive i must have weidu aye , just checked the files and the music is indeed ACM but what im trying to work with is the sound files the voices of the chars , my main char in this case and its listed as WAV , but im starting to think its weird because no Wav program ive downloaded so far recognizes it as a WAV xD
2 Edit: ok from what ive gathered around the web the sound files are not WAV but actually WAVC and to change them you need a tool for it unfortunatly all ive found are old pages that dont have the links anymore so guess this means its the end :P
3 Edit: ok i have figure out how to work the tool you mention , now the Audacity tool can open the files , alltough im doin one at a time so its goin to be a bit of time before im done , then ill try them ingame and see if they work as intended :) if it does work i can call this finished and give you the answer since you apointed me to that tool :)
Final Edit :P after a good wile changing volume in each of my files i tryed them after in game and they did sound as loud as the rest of my party , so thanks a lot for pointing me on the right direction ,glad it finally got fixed i was about to give up haha
