Dracc: Honestly though, the game is gorgeous even today. The animations, while simplistic, hold up better than similar titles(Fallout *cough*) and all of the prerendered scenery is spot on. I still feel more immersion in Infinity Engine games than most modern 3D games.
Having watched a friend play Assassins Creed Brotherhood, there's no comparison graphics wise - and why would there be? There are 10 years and a lot of evolved technology in between. ....but you're right that BG does have the ability to immerse you. Partly scenery but mainly the game itself. It has a certain charm which has past the test of time. EDIT: .....with flying colours (colors for our US friends!)
