Devora Wilde and Jennifer English talk about working with intimacy coordinators. I thought this was interesting. It suggests the work setting of the game was a safe and healthy one. I hope Blizzard is taking notes.

I've come across the term intimacy coordinators while reading an article about a movie (don't remember which one) but the director hired to make sure the actors and actresses where provided with the support needed to do their job and in a safe environment.

While what we see on screen is two people doing the sexy times, behind the camera we have the director, the boom mic guy, the guy working the lights, the guy misting the air... etc. etc. etc. etc. staring at the actors doing sexy times.

It can be pretty awkward, having the opportunity to talk about the scene and maybe decide, Hey! how about just you, me and the director with a camera? This is an option.

They haven't been different companies since what? 2008? The most recent frat boy scandal was after COVID.

It's like saying "It wasn't Marty who grabbed that woman's ass, it was his hand."
