Hotfix #29 was released on Steam a day ago - I was meant to play with my friend tonight, been looking forward to it all day, she updated her game but then I realised the hotfix is not available on GOG. We are now getting an error that we are on different versions and can't play together :( poor experience

It downloaded for me yesterday, in GOG Galaxy. The newer version of Galaxy places it in the download queue, but you have to actually tell it to start the download/update.
