Yesterday the new patch was up for about an hour, I downloaded it and patched up my game. Then the new patch was taken down, and a TON of old patches were uploaded. Now there is no way to download the new patch, you can only redownload the original client. What is going on here?? Glad I downloaded the patch while it was up.

Likely wasn't tested thoroughly and turned out to be defective, so it got pulled again.

Since you managed to download and apply that alleged faulty version of the patch - haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary yet?

Nope, been playing since yesterday. I did have to move a mod in the load order, it stopped working right. But the actual game is fine.

Either tomorrow (if someone volunteers to put in some weekend overtime, like last week) or on Monday, at the latest?

I suspect that they messed up and accidentally took the new patch down when they re-added all those old patches.

They managed to mess up at every update...

So, do we need to download the full game again?

If you want to get the patch 2 now, yes.
Else you could wait and hope they release the patch 2 separately soon...
Or use their proprietary galaxy launcher...
It has been out on Steam for 5 days already.

Gog‘s treatment of offline patches is just plain loveless and it sucks.
