So, we have the choice between Vulkan or DirectX when we launch the game. Is there any advantage to one over the other? I've not noticed any difference myself.

Vulkan is more stable ATM.

some Gpu cards will give better results on Vulkan or DX, most will treat them both the same but having both gives us the option to swap between them which in it self works around certain issues

Haven't noticed any difference. I'm running an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
