UPDATE 2:

It seems that the issue is now resolved and you should be able to update without problems. Once again sorry that you had to wait!

If something still fails with Offline Installers please give them a moment more - GALAXY should be okay though.

Is this the latest version?
Can anyone post what should be the correct version with the latest patch installed?

OK, confirmed, for those having trouble or "updating" to an older version the correct (latest) version for the game is
4.1.1.5970269

nullzero: It has also just updated for me too. I believe 4.1.1.5970269 is the current version. But something is still off as the game now shows a warning when launching (not just a GoG issue it seems to effect all PC distribution platforms). So I think there will be another hot fix soon.
true it show that error now, i'm veryfing the installed files; lol this update is a nightmare

You sure you don't have any mods or something custom there?

You sure you don't have any mods or something custom there?
No mods or anything. I also deleted %AppData%\Local\Larian Studios\ as I am going to start a new run anyway. But it is still the same. I think I might try reinstall at some point.

@nullzero have you got anything that used to have mods like an old savegame from before the patch 7

also Galaxy doesn't remove all the mod files when it clears the list... goto your mod folder which is bg3 game folder\ data\ mods and comfirm the folder is clear

In the end a re install did the trick.

(Clearing the mod folder did not help, I think there was some files in bin and launcher that was out of sync too)

Updating still doesnt work. Yesterday I managed to update some, then I had to stop. But today it wont even start. Getting the E1 error, so I risked and uninstalled the game. And that was bad idea. I cant now install the game.
I try to install it via offline installer ( 33 parts) but it will take eons cause of my veeeery slow connection.
Installing via GOG ( 1 file via Extras uploads) doesnt work either.

EDIT : I reinstalled Gog app, and finally after few tries I managed to start downloading the file : Baldurs Gate 3 Release - v4.1.1.6072089 - Patch Patch7_Hotfix3 - 127 GB ( offiline installer on GOG app, in Extras)
I hope the game will work.
Does this file has the newest Patch (with mods) included or not ?
