I am still running windows 7, planning to upgrade to 10 in near future.
I heard previous versions of Bg 3 safely runned on win 7.
So I wonder if I can roll back to version 5 or earlier.

Q1 = you heard wrong... bg3 on W7 is not supported
and more to the point Galaxy on W7 isn't supported

Q2 + Gog Galaxy allows you to roll back the last 5 changes... that includes a Patch or a hotfix

as a side note updating to W10 may not be a great idea because W10 ends support next year and to be blunt W11 isn't ready
