i was able to post after i figured out the link for the fix wasn't permitted as it was

fyi every patch removes the option to keep playing old characters... you have to start again

also they replaced the ui to remove profiles... everyone now has one profile and each new game has their saves listed by character name

also the continue buttion doesn't work in crossplay so don't lose your progress
