Hi!

I'm trying to run this one on the Deck and while it start fine, I'm getting a lot of artefacting on the screen. Looks like missing shaders to my eye but I'm no expert.

I've already tried using different proton versions, GE as well as Wine GE with no luck.
It's also the same on bg3.exe as well as bg3_dx11.exe.

Has anyone else ran into this?

Neck_Bear: What version of Proton or Wine are you using?
I've tried multiple actually: Experimental, 8.0.6, 7.0.6, various GE 8s too.
Did you make sure to completely remove the EA version before installing the full release? Other then that make sure to launch the game with the dx11 exe as the Vulkan one seems to be kinda funky.
Same here. Had to install dotnet desktop runtime 6 via protontricks.

Tried various proton versions. After intro there is no sound. Shadows and some effects flicker.

I will try some other proton versions (experimental / hotfix / GE 8.3 to 8.11).
Also maybe the hotfix, that got just released might fix some issues

EDIT: On the other hand some assets/animations seem to be missing during character creation. Repairing / forcing update via heroic launcher does not fix it... I will try to delete all assets and copy over game files from my desktop.

I use proton-ge-custom and everything works so far. But I use the Vulkan version and I use a PC with ArchLinux.

In case anyone else is looking at this - the problem for me was that Heroic made a right mess of downloading and installing BG3. Even after a successful verification it was still missing files.

In the end I imported my downloaded BG3 into an install of GoG Galaxy, which then downloaded the missing files.
(The original Heroic install for me was around 110GB).
