J Lo: Hello!
Is it possible to let Wyll down easy? He looks heartbroken and I feel like shit.
Great wasn't it one of my favorite NPC / player interactions and I certainly didn't feel like shit slapping him down. He clearly needed be to slapped down, my character had given him a perfectly good reason for not wanting to dance. But he wouldn't take the hint so she had to make it clear she was not interested.
I found the characterisations of the party NPCs to be pretty good. Wyll seems to be the type who thinks the sun shines out of their arse. I mean he calls himself The Blade of Frontiers all the time, he even introduces himself as that, as if my character should be impressed. I hated Wyll from the get-go.
BTW Wyll was not heartbroken I recognize the almost speechless reaction of someone to whom it is inconceivable that someone would turn them down as it does not normally happen.
I manage to put him in his place again in act 3. My character had managed to avoid any romantic/sexual relationships until we got to the lower city in BG when my character slept with Mizora, the devil he sold his soul to. Cause he got the strop with that and started lecturing my character. I told him it was just sex and he can talk I'm not the one who sold their soul to Mizora and it was none of his business.
As I said I have had fun with the NPC interaction it seems to be well done.
