So, for those who don't want to wait for the official macos/arm release, here is a handy tutorial on how to run it the easy way.

1. Download the game files through the store, and not gog. You need all the .bin and .exe files locally
2. Install https://github.com/Gcenx/WineskinServer via brew
3. Create a new wrapper and use the latest W11 engine (22.1.1-10 as of writing this)
4. When the wrapper is ready, run it, go to Advanced and Winetricks.
5. In Winetricks install dxvk_master
6. Go to install software, and point to the exe files
7. Once installation process is done, point the binary to Baldurs Gate 3\bin\bg3_dx11.exe
8. Enjoy

is it on the store at your end? must be region locked because i don't have it as an option yet

Yes, in the store it is the same version as the Early Access one, but when downloading offline files you can get the release version. When you install via GOG, you will get the EA version instead

Alternatively, you can use Heroic Launcher on macOS to install and run BG3.

Although as I just discovered, I was unable to force the update to the patch released today.

And manually downloading the patch files, and running them with "run exe on prefix" did not work. Couldn't find the install.
