Hello hello!
I'm not sure how to explain this in English, but I'm doing my best.

Today I finally reached the destroyed monk temple in act 2 and tried to talk to the (spoiler free) people in there. But for some reason, I can no longer use persuation or decieve options while talking to them (in German it's called "Täuschen" or "Überzeugen"). I can click on them, but the dialog just stops moving on, everyone looks awkwardly at each other until the end of times and I have to reload my savegame without even using the dice. I can't use any skill check options during conversations. Why T_T

I haven't played the game since the latest patch (2 days ago) and never had this problem before - maybe the patch broke it? Or is this location just bugged from the get go?

This is really frustrating for my little bard right now ;( I need to talk things out, not attack everyone lol

Edit: Okay the dialog options also broke on previous savegames (where it still worked a week ago). I'll try to go one update back ._.

Edit2: Hmm it seems like this bug just appeared with Version 4.1.1.3686210
-> If you have the same issue, you need to patch the game back to Version 4.1.1.3669438. SADLY your savegames from the latest patch will be not usable anymore so you will lose some progress if you didn't notice this bug early enough. I "only" lost 1 hour of selling stuff und organzing my camp, so I hope you don't run into this after doing exploration for a longer time than that! :<

I will just leave this post here as a warning for others.

This is usually caused by using mods that have not been updated to the latest patch yet.
I had the same issue (getting stuck in dice rolls like certain dialogue options, lock-picking etc.).
In the end, I had to remove the "Better Hot Bar" mod from my list of mods (~15) and everything worked fine again.
Added the mod again after it was updated today and everything still works fine.

PS.: This will most likely happen again with patch 2 as major patches - unlike hotfixes - do tend to require modders to update their mods.

[EDIT] Typo...

Thanks for the reply, PathOba. You were right, this was caused by a mod that didn't get any new updates from it's creator for a while now. For me it was the mod "Customizer's Compendium".

Thankfully, someone on Nexus created a temp fix for this issue. I hope the mod author will update his work soon, or else the next patch might break the temp fix again.
