I have no idea what to do, I've tried to download the patch through Galaxy four times now and it always gets stuck at the same point. Saying its verifying patched files. Either at 56% or 100%. I've tried downloading the offlline installer but I keep getting windows disc mount errors.

Anyone else had this problem? I admit I'm new to GoG but was sick of steam's BS. So please help me if you can.

Edit: Seem to have fixed this by, of all things, updating to the new geforce drivers.

What disk do your http downloads go to? Are you downloading to a usb?

Nope, my SSD. I tried updating my graphics drivers to the newest ones after somehow getting the Larian launcher to start. That seemed to fix things.

it sounds like your system was struggling to unpack the patch because it needed more power or ram than it had at the time... perhaps it was also getting an up date or something
