when you install patch 7 on Windows it losses all your account settings and may also flag data errors [see image 1&2]

you can sign back into your account or move the old files to work around the first part of this but fixing the 2nd is upto larian

fyi this is because of a spelling error [see image ] that means all the profile and saves are moved to a new sync folder

We can see _that_ was well-tested!

In my system it looks like the move is deliberate...;) There is a shortcut in my Documents\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3 folder which is entitled: Baldur's Gate 3-New Profile Location

And the new location is:

"...\AppData\local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3"

I think that had it been a bug there would have been no shortcut in the old location telling me where to go to find new locations...But if not for your post here I wouldn't have checked the Baldur's Gate 3 profile/saved games folder to see that it had been moved! Thanks for the tip!

the move to your c drive is deliberate yes but the bug is in the spelling "Larian Studios" vs "LarianStudios" so some files got moved to the wrong folder

good news is this is very easy for Larian to fix
