Hi, I've been using offline installs since the galaxy app hasn't been reliable and hangs, crashes, and gets errors on my mac M1. A couple weeks ago I was able to successfully install offline Patch 24 by downloading all the offline game files. This Patch 25 I just downloaded the 52 files totaling around 140+Gb and get an error:

“baldur_s_gate_3_english_BG3_MacOS_v4_1_1_5022896_Gold__Main_Task_OSX_CL_4_1_1_5038367_.pkg” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm on an account with admin privileges. Sonoma 14.4.1 M1 macbook.

And do I understand correctly that every time the game is updated, I have to download the entire game again? There's no single smaller patch file? Thanks,

I'm not a mac user, but I think I saw this mentioned in another thread on this forum. Do yourself a scan to find it.
if you want to use off line installs then yes every patch = start again

on Galaxy you can patch wothout redownloading the full game each time but if you skip a few then a fresh install is normally best

both Mac and Windows has issues with games placed in the wrong folders/ permissions
