ussnorway: If you patch the game then DLC is NOT ticked by default but if you install fresh it should always include any DLC ... That's how Galaxy works
The issue is that a bunch of people who purchased EA still haven't been credited with the DLC in their GOG account. If I go look at the Deluxe Edition Upgrade in the GOG store, it doesn't show up as being in my library. When I look at the DLC menu in Galaxy, I have no check boxes to check. When I look at Extras All I have are the offline installers.
Some of you were correctly credited with the DLC, but not everyone. I'm curious if it's related to who has a Larian account (I didn't set one up until after the release, though I bought EA in 2020), or if they're doing something silly like manually going through the accounts and adding it or something.
I'm slightly annoyed - not terribly upset like some folks here - but it would be nice if we had a bit more information about what's going on from GOG. I'm sure they're very busy and all, but the last post said that it just needed to synchronize and it would be available momentarily. Clearly there are edge cases for which that's not correct. For those of us in that boat, it'd be nice to know if we still need to keep waiting, or if we need to go tell someone about it.
Meanwhile, I'm finding myself utterly bored with the game as I play through the EA content for the 20th time. There are definitely some small changes, but for the most part EA is the same. I really wish I hadn't played it so much, so there'd be some surprises left.
