...or my money back.

Forcing Patch 7 and Larian's forced mod management (and subsequent censorship) on customers is unacceptable. It feels like a bait and switch. And fuck Larian for that!

This is NOT a "live-service" game and the purchaser of the game should be the one to decide which updates they utilize and which they don't, not the publisher!

I'm not mad at GOG, just to be clear. I'm sure Larian didn't consult them, when they handed over their packaged update process. This is 100% on Larian.

I've looked all over the web for a link to Patch 6, and it doesn't seem to exist. I want the option, within GOG Galaxy's app, to implement each patch consecutively, stopping at any point I choose.

You need to have the game installed first. Either download the Patch 7 files or (hopefully) already have it installed.

Open the Galaxy app.

Click 'Installed' under 'Games' on the left side.

Click the BG3 portrait.

Click the two lines with circles button near the top of the screen.

Click 'Manage Installation'.

Click 'Configure'.

Click 'Show More Versions' (if you don't have 5 version available).

Click the bubble for 'Version Release - v4.1.1.5022896 - Patch Patch 6_Hotfix9 - 8 Months ago'.

Click 'Ok'.

That'll roll back your installation to the last hotfix of the Patch 6 version. Be aware though, the next hotfix or patch will knock that option off and make it unavailable, unless there's some command line thing you can do, as Galaxy only allows for 5 versions to be on the rollback list. You'll also probably need to have 150gb or so of free space on the hard drive that BG3 is installed on, given the fuckery of the patching/installation process with these humongous games.
