I've been away on holiday for a week and I see a load of new patches and hot-fixes, but they are all for v4.1.1.3624901 (or higher) of the base game which seems now the only download available.

There is nothing listed in the offline installers section to patch v4.1.1.3622274 which was the original version of the offline installer.

How do I patch my v4.1.1.3622274 copy of the game?

Linux user - the Galaxy client is unreliable and doesn't work, so the offline installers are my only option for this one.
There is a thing called "Heroic Launcher" that is said to work in Linux and merge GO and EPIC Launchers into 1 but i do not use Linux and i have no clue if it would work or where to get it.

Also there is minigalaxy - use at own risk as i do not have any experience with them...

The game works fine - it's being played via Lutris which bundles it's own specific version of Wine to play it; that's not a problem - I've got maybe ~18 hours of play in iit so far.

It's that the original download that was offered ~10 days ago from the offline installers list now doesn't appear to have an option to upgrade it. There should be something to update from v4.1.1.3622274 to v4.1.1.3624901 to allow the new hotfixes and patches to install, I've downloaded all of the offline hotfix/patches and every single one of them exits saying that I have the incorrect version of the installer available.

Was there a v4.1.1.3622274 to v4.1.1.3624901 patch released in the last 10 days before GOG updated the base game to v4.1.1.3624901?

Downloading all ~115GB in 28 files again just to get the updated base game would be a pain in the ass.
For my own sanity, yes, there is a missing patch from the offline installers page, it should be:

patch_baldurs_gate_3_Release_-_v4.1.1.3622274_(66516)_to_Release_-_v4.1.1.3624901_-_Patch_(66545) .exe

This is the first patch for the initial live release of the game, which GOG have since replaced. Anyone, like me, who downloaded v4.1.1.3622274, needs this to update their install before installing any further patches.

I don't know why it has been removed from the list of downloads.

The version numbers for the initial patches were a mess. Someone worked out what was going on by using the galaxy version history:

Yeah, it looks like they only released part of patch 1, they forgot the smaller update which Galaxy installed first.

To clarify, my BG3 version history updated through Galaxy currently looks like this:

v4.1.1.3630146 - Patch Patch0_Hotfix2
v4.1.1.3624901 - Patch v1 <--- they added an offline installer for this bit
v4.1.1.3624901 - Patch <--- but they forgot this bit <_<
v4.1.1.3622274

Not sure if this is Larian or GOG being drunk, but I think it's safe to say someone's rushing the patches out a little too hastily.
It took GOG a few days to realise the "Patch" offline installer was missing and then it was uploaded as:

patch_baldurs_gate_3_Release_-_v4.1.1.3622274_(66516)_to_Release_-_v4.1.1.3624901_-_Patch_(66545).exe

As you've found without it you cannot get to patch 1 from the original release.

I have my own saved copy of that offline installer and it has md5sum 096d0bace81a71caf23fd0162a925020, but I don't think the GOG user agreement allows me to share it.

I suggest you contact GOG support to get a copy.

Same problem here.

It's not the first time gog does this, they remove previous patches and you have to download full game again and again...

There should be some "archive folder" for offline installer patches.

I have the same problem. I cannot upgrade from 4.11.3622274.
GOG = ridiculous
Unfortunately if you wait too long then GoG deletes those older patches and you have to download the whole game again.
Now they have put patch for older version available:

Patch (Release - v4.1.1.3622274 to Live - v4.1.1.3669438 - Patch Patch1 Data fix)

This is good!

But it seems main release is still newer version:

Release - v4.1.1.3686210 - Patch Patch2

"3686210" or "Patch2" is not listed in patches, but i hope it will come in near-future.
Hi there,
A pretty fast(ish) and secure way i found to work on my macos + wine is using GOG to download the offline installation files (Gog is much faster then downloading the 4gb archives from website), and overriding the existing installation. It takes longer then an update as you are overriding the files, but your initial version does not matter in this case

My max download speed is my max download speed. It's what I get if I use http or torrent or any proprietary download method that you can name.
The new offline patch was there for an hour or two the other day. I downloaded it, it installed and worked fine. I came back later that day, there was another update shown for BG3. I checked it, the new offline patch was removed and a TON of old patches were there in its place. I dont know what the point of that was. Honestly its making me regret not buying the game on Steam if this is how patching is going to work.
