We’ve got a small hotfix for you today, taking care of a few issues affecting dialogues and the controller interface.

As ever, thank you for taking the time to report these issues to us, and thank you for playing Baldur’s Gate 3.

CHANGES
Fixed an issue preventing you from starting a new dialogue.
Fixed in-game tutorials not popping up at the correct time on the controller interface.
Fixed visual artefacts in an Underdark dialogue.

Apparently 'fixed' translates as the tutorials now force themselves on regardless of you unticking the option to show them

HI, I have limited internet right now therefore I am using offline installers. It might take days before I can have a better line again.

I'd like to ask if to update from hotfix 5 to this one is it enough to DL the patch (around 600mb, feasible in my situation) or if everytime that there is an hotfix I need to redownload and reinstall the Digital Deluxe Edition stuff too (which is almost 3gb).

When are we able to get the hotfix, newest release from Larian Studios? Steam already has the download/update for Patch#6 this morning? Why so late in posting for downloads.

It seems the offline installers are out of date. When I installed using Heroic, it was the latest version.

I couldn't even get GOG Galaxy to install, kept failing as soon as I launched the installer.

Would appreciate if GOG updated the offline installer files to Patch 6 (not to be confused with hotfix 6)

It should be patch 6, not hotfix 6.

GoG is always treated with less priority than Steam by developers.

The version installed by Heroic (and presumably GOG galaxy) seems to be the new proper Patch #6. Just the offline installers are old.

Patch 6 and Hotfix 6 are two different things. Hotfix 6 was months ago, when this thread was first started. Patch 6 was last week and there are plenty of recent threads discussing it.
