This fixes a few of the new graphics bugs in Patch 6... mostly the ones that cause a crash because they try to apply the old settings but its nice to see some improvments

Just an FYI, messing with your previous saves might cause your game to freeze/crash; which is what I experienced.

if you mean saves made while playing under patch 5 then yes

patch 6 players should start a new save after upgrading from patch 5 and this hotfix comes with these so patch 6 saves should be fine
