webmonkey: I wanted to support GoG and ordered it here for the DRM free version instead of steam but it just refused to install and is stuck at 2% 145mb of 105 gb.

Will not resume no matter what I try, pause/resume. Exiting gog and restarting, even reinstalling GoG Galaxy.

JClosed: Can you download and install the game with the off-line installers? If Galaxy cannot get the job done, then maybe a "manual" install works better. I don't know what speed you connection has, but if it's high enough it won't take that long to do it this way.
