Got fed up with constant crashing every 15 minutes, so I decided to start over with latest version.

Tried installing on three different drives, a couple times on each, but keep getting errors.

Clicking through, it appears game installs but when launched, it just loads to 100% and freezes.

Really bad.

Fixed it.

Format drive, reinstall Windows, reinstall game.

Also, stopped the CTDs.
