OK, am I the only one who thinks it's absurd that we get such a steep penalty that there is zero way to cure for this quest while getting essentially *ZERO* reward? We get told nothing of note; ei no help except _"Sorry, you are screwed"_ meaning she doesn't even come clsoe to holding up her end of the bargain. This isn't Fey trickery, it is a flat out she did not do what she said she would but we still have to pay for it. Granted, for some classes it is no big deal. For other people, like myself, who are playing a bloody Ranger with the "Urchin" background for sleight of hands and hide, perception is a pretty darn big deal. This curse even overrides magic items that give you "Advantage" by simply nullifying it and keeping the disadvantage. This is nuts.
Idk, it would be kinda awesome if there was a way to go about curing it, but I certainly can't find anything nor can anyone else. I'd ask Larian on their boards about it as this has been an issue since Early Access hence why they took away the "No Criticals" part, though it is still ridiculous overkill in my opinion, but...there boards don't work because of all the traffic, with accounts being listed as suspended constantly or you just end up timing out 99.99% of the time you try to do anything like login. Or post. Or view the forums in general. That has been going on since...a month before release? I don't understand why they haven't upgraded the server/host package because the current set-up is flat out broken. Like the penalty for "Paid the Price". Broken, and like playing at max level for 50+ hours bc you do everything you possibly can, it "Absolutely takes a lot of fun away from the experience.
