Hello!

Is it possible to check item abilities (brace, heartstopper, hamstring, etc.) while using controller?

Yes. Assuming the Xbox one controller, if viewing item in inventory/container, press the view button to inspect it, a prompt for which is shown just above the item info box. If selecting an ability from the ability wheel during combat, press the right stick for further details.

I still prefer controller. My wrists start hurting after using M/KB for a while. I recently started exercise to help with some of my muscle/joint problems. Stretching out my sore arms (to reach the mouse and keyboard) after doing weights kinda sucks. To add to this, I was helping my sister move earlier this week and strained my back. Using M/KB means I have to sit up. Using a controller lets me lean back in my chair and use my heating pad.

The Asus ROG Raikiri looks pretty sweet.
