EDIT UPDATE: I caved in, downloaded GOG Galaxy, imported my install and did a repair/verification update, NOW I have voice audio. Can I still play this game without Galaxy running?







Bought this game, downloaded the offline installer so I'm not using GOG Galaxy. Installed for the very first time on this new laptop I'm using.

Everything seems to functioning right except for this one thing, voice audio for characters talking in dialogue scenes are completely silent. They are just moving their mouths but not saying anything. And all my audio settings in game and on my PC are fine. Other games I have have characters talking.

I have noticed when I first installed this game, there were some error pop ups from the installer before concluding that "The Game has installed successful" but then when I launched the launcher of the game I get a "Data Mismatch" notice. But how, I installed this game for the first time.

Now I'm starting to think that "MABYE" the install got corrupted and what probably the issue is the audio files.

So what I can I do now to fix it? I tried playing the game on Vulkan engine and still no voices.

Yeah I figure at this point Ill only use Galaxy to install big sized games like this.

Offline installers for at least 10-ish GB games.
