I could not get the latest patch to load on my MacBook from GOG galaxy, so I deleted the game and made sure I have over 400gb of free space on my disk. I removed bg3 and Got, and deleted all the related files in my user directory and reinstalled GOG. the installer is still telling me I don't have enough space available, despite having 400gb. Anyone able to help?

the game runs great on this machine, just frustrating that the GOG launcher is so broken on Mac.

---edit

I installed the latest macOS 14.3 and now it is installing? Leaving this up in case someone else has a similar problem!

So these spare space is an internal drive yes not a portable?
Say what ? Macs dont come with much internal disk space ? And if they you, you'll be paying an extreme premium for that.

I was trying to reinstall again today because another Mac patch is available, and had the same problem. I fixed it by going into the GOG settings then installing, updating, and changing the location for the Temporary game update folder. this made GOG realize I had enough space on the HD to install the game.

your desktop has permission so its a settings issue i.e, your Mac does not allow Gog to use that space in the old location
