When it is released your early release version should transfer to current release automatically

Its early access until tomorow. Tomorow you will have the full game plus a bonus for having EA a free premium edition
What's not clear to me is if your EA install will automatically "patch" to the full release version tomorrow, or if you'll have to manually uninstall and re-install it. It'll be a full download either way.

Just to be safe, I uninstalled my EA version, and all saves, this afternoon, and I plan to reinstall tomorrow after the launch date for my area.

Also - just to level-set expectations - It's a big, much-anticipated game and GOG doesn't have a pre-download option. I expect the servers to be HAMMERED tomorrow. I won't be surprised if I can't actually play the game until Friday or the weekend due to technical issues. It's entirely possible that Larian/GOG have accounted for this and are staging files with the appropriate CDN, and I hope they have, but I'm personally keeping my expectations low.

Client wise I am sure it will function as an update, but Larian actually said to uninstall the EA build to avoid any possible complications. I think they likely found some bugs in last minute testing when changing versions.
Larian said to uninstall things on Steam ... Steam has cloud saves and Gog does not [yet]

op - you can't refund the game on Gog unless its under 30 days old
