Question to all the players who own maybe both versions and know about this subject (Steam API patch system depends on huge files getting replaced completely, when other patch systems can 'inject' just small size updates).

I am probably going to (finally) buy this game, now that it is out of EA, but, it is clear that this game is going to get multiple patches and heavy updates over the next weeks and months.

Thinking of having to download 20GB or more every single time, several times a week, is not making me giddy. Made me think "maybe the updates are smaller on GOG (Galaxy).

Is that true?

Does anybody know?

I think today's update on GOG Galaxy was < 300MB. It took like 20 seconds for me.
