Thought I'd post this as I see this question a lot. We've got an official, yet slightly vague release. The game is coming out in 2023. I can't pin-point an actual day, but sometime during that year. For a while I was guessing early 2024. That might still be a possibility if they feel they need to iron out some issues.

yes the only real point of this vid to to confirm what Spen said at the end of one of the hotfix vids... which is that the game due date was pushed to 2023 with Covid which is as least partly true but it never had any real hope of a 22 release because the company NEEDS this game to be good to keep Wizards in bed

many people missed it so Larian has now confirmed the date [at least the year] & Spen is the company boss so thats as official as these things get

I believe in 2023, even the hype is very bad. Larian's marketting is so pathetic.

Larian is deliberately avoiding jumping on the fuckpunk hype train for this game & i'm just fine with that

Its wasted time, game industry keeps going fowards whether Larian is on it or no.

Some thigns I dont get but I still think BG3 is good.

Yes, 2023 is looking like an avalanche of AAA titles being released… Not good for many smaller developers, who could be crushed. I'll wait for BG3, but I'm just not getting that BG vibe at the moment.
