What is that distracting and annoying rectangular banner at the top of the screen?
It reads "B-17-The Mighty Eighth" It covers u part of the game screen and that is no good at all.

More importantly.....can it be removed and if so....how?

As always....thanks in advance for any help.


PS.....I played this game before from GOG and this banner was not there then.

An alternative and better way, and this is now how I do it, is to automate this process using the program AutoHotkey and the WinSet command as follows:

Path_B17 := "C:\GOG Games\B-17 Flying Fortress"
SetTitleMatchMode, 3
Run, %path_b17%\Game.exe,%path_b17%
Sleep, 4000
WinSet, Style, -0xC00000, B-17 - The Mighty Eighth

Many thanks....was a simple fix!

Can I ask another tip question?

Is there any way to stop that annoying introduction video from playing or at least stop it after it begins.

NEVER MIND. The GOG version doesn't play the intro if I use the "game" icon instead of the other ones.
