What: The OMF Utility Tool

What it Does: Allows you to export and import the TGA Image files from the OMF files.

Where to Get it: http://glewis.us/v7th_Recon/helplinks.htm

Copy the OMF files to a separate folder NOT in the game directory. Place the OMF Utility file along with it's accompanying files in the B-17 II Game folder. It will want to overwrite CoreParts.dll, so I made a copy of CoreParts.dll first so I would be able to revert to the original if need be.

Then to open up OMF files, goto where you moved your copies to, right click on one and either select 'Open' or 'Open with' (I was not given the option 'Open with', but since there is no program set to open OMF files, so had to use 'Open', I went to the same screen as if I had picked 'Open with'.) You will be asked what program to use to open the OMF file with. Use 'Browse' and point it to OMF.exe in the game folder, make sure the 'Always use this Program for These Files' is clicked. From now on, when you click or open a OMF file, the OMF Utility Tool program will be used.

You can now look at what images are in the OMF files, if any, and export them as TGAs. You can then modify the images. I used Paint.net for my test. Then to add the image, click and drag the image you just created and saved, from it's folder and into the image in the OMF Utility Tool. Then click 'Save Changes'.

This works for me in Win7 64 bit. Also read the included ReadMe file and The manual for about requirements of the files that you are modifying.
