Release the tail wheel lock : Shift + T will allow B + N
If the axis for brakes is the same as that for throttle then joystick turn will also affect throttle.
Delete/rename the opt file and re-allocate the axis for roll and pitch. If you have a throttle, define that and if you have pedals or twist joystick use that
Training mission #1
Ensure throttle is at idle
Go into manual mode (M)
Release parking brake (Shift + P)
Release Tail wheel (Shift + T)
Increase throttle (+)
Turn using B and N
Slow down using wheel brakes (ins + del)
Once at runway - put parking brake on (P)
Full throttle (Shift and +)
Release parking brake (Shift + P)
take off !
If using a joystick (Tested with Logitech Attack 3 which has throttle)
Delete/rename the .opt file to be safe, although I don't think this is necessary if you reset (see below)
Plug in joystick
Start game
Go into control settings
Press the red button in center screen to reset options
Set pitch to Y axis if not already set
Set roll to X-axis, if not set
Leave yaw alone - should not be assigned
All throttles is set to Z-Axis
Now use B+N to steer and not the joystick (while on the ground)
My assumption is steering is associated with yaw (it moves the tail),
so a if you have a twist joystick or pedals you should allocate that axis to steering and yaw
