Well, not so much 'difficulty' as 'impossibility'.

Although I have no difficulty at all with the "Feathering and Restarting" mission, have *never* been able to successfully restart a stopped engine in-game. For instance:

-- accidentally flicked engine 3 fuel cutoff instead of engine 4 (which was damaged and inoperable).; engine 3 --which was running perfectly fine prior-- will not restart.

-- accidentally transferred too much fuel from tank 4, which caused engine 4 to stop running; transferred fuel back to tank 4, but engine 4 will not restart.

-- intentionally shut down damaged engine 1 so that it would not fail during the mission; would not restart later, after dropping bombs and the aircraft was lighter.

While I certainly understand being unable to restart a damaged engine (ex. total loss of oil resulting in a seized engine) I don't understand why I cannot restart an engine I've just shut down. These are the steps I perform to restart:

1) turn the fuel switch on (and booster pump when appropriate),
2) de-feather prop,
3) set throttle and turbocharger to same settings as operative engines.

I've even tried setting mixture auto-rich and reenergizing/meshing. No joy. :(

Any suggestions?

No suggestions unfortunately. The same things happens to me and I have found no way to solve the problem.
